I'm 21 years old Japanese girl living in Yokohama with my family, but I study acting and languages in Tokyo. I also work nation wide as a model for fashion designers in Japan and South Korea. After long hours of precious hard work of rehearsing with John More, I took off and went to the ”Big Apple (New York)” for 2 auditions: the first one was for “The Circle in the Square Theatre School” and the second one was for “The American Academy of Dramatic Arts”. They both were very tough and demanding auditions with many students around the world trying to get into those schools, but thanks to a lot of passion and hard work that John and I have put into the preparation of the auditions, a few weeks ago I had the beautiful news that I got in both schools and I’m very happy that soon I will join the prestigious school “The American Academy of Dramatic Arts” in New York. Once again, thank you very much John!

I’m very happy to have had John More as an acting coach for an audition in the English language; we've been working on a monologue by Shakespeare, which for me was very challenging, but he was able to make Shakespeare's difficulties simple and give me the chance to enjoy this author in his totality!
I have also had the chance to meet a beautiful person, well prepared in his field and working with him was an amazing experience! He knows his craft very well and knows how to trasmit it deeply inside you!
His work is very meticulous and sometimes it seems that he abandons you, but it is not like that, it is only a strategy! It’s just a feeling, because he is always there with you, focusing on you and only you!
He makes you understand important concepts and emotional passages by simply channelling you in the right direction - it’s then up to your creativity and good will to find the right path... and if you don’t really find it, he is always there to help you to open your eyes.
The more will you have to work hard and use your creativity, the better work you do with John More!

Spesso ci lamentiamo che i nostri attori di cinema e teatro non sono conosciuti o apprezzati all'estero; credo che questa sia un'iniziativa nuova ed interessante per chiunque voglia affrontare il mestiere della recitazione con un occhio aperto anche fuori dai confini di casa. Ben vengano occasioni e stimoli di questo valore.

In un'Italia che dimentica spesso la cultura storica e sociale delle arti, è bello sapere che qualcuno offre la possibilità di aprire la nostra conoscenza con un'iniziativa che unisce la tradizione teatrale ad un'esigenza attuale come quella dell'apprendimento delle lingue. Non da meno l'interessante aspetto di poter vivere un'esperienza europea in un paese importante quale l'Inghilterra. Grazie.

Sono un'attrice professionista, sfortunatamente non ho mai avuto il piacere di recitare in lingua inglese, ma mi piacerebbe tanto provare nuove emozioni in un'altra lingua così internazionale come l'inglese.

Era ora che qualcuno pensasse di rendere più accattivante e internazionalmente competitiva la preparazione artistico culturale dei nostri aspiranti attori, che vedono in Italia pochi sbocchi e tante frustrazioni; un'opportunità di questo genere potrebbe produrre un'occasione di sviluppo professionale. Resta la convinzione di chi scrive che ogni iniziativa che tende a sdoganare la cultura non possa che produrre benefici effetti.

Sono una futura (spero) insegnante di inglese e sto cercando di scrivere la mia tesi proprio su questa proposta: inglese e recitazione. Penso infatti che l'apprendimento della lingua straniera abbia bisogno di nuovi stimoli.
